West Division
The West Division, under the leadership of Major Ken Hall, consists of the Northwest District and the Southwest District. Each District is commanded by a Captain who reports to the Division Commander.
The West Division geographically includes the Western portion of the county, and includes components in each district to deliver services to the people of Polk County residing or traveling in those areas: patrol platoons, Crime Suppression Teams, Community
Oriented Policing Units, General Crimes Detectives, and Canine Teams.
The Crime Suppression Teams (CST) provide direct support to their communities in a variety of ways to address crime and social issues through community partnerships and different methods of service delivery. The General Crimes Unit (GCU) is located within
each of the patrol districts. Detectives assigned to the GCU are responsible for conducting follow- up investigations on felony property crimes, and a number of felony person crimes.
There are also three contract cities in this division - Fort Meade, Mulberry, and Polk City.

Northwest District
The Northwest District is located at 1045 Wedgewood Estates Blvd in Lakeland. The main number to call is 863-577-1600. The areas of responsibility within this district are the unincorporated areas of: North Lakeland, Kathleen, Medulla, Wabash, and the contract city of Polk City.

Southwest District
The Southwest District is located at 4120 US Hwy 98 South in Lakeland. The main number to call is 863-499-2400. The areas of responsibility within this district are the unincorporated areas of: Lakeland, KVille, Highland City, Combee, Skyview, Bartow, Bradley, Homeland; and the following contract cities: Mulberry, Fort Meade.

Our contract cities take advantage of our winning formula for law enforcement, and they save time and money by eliminating the taxing administrative overhead of maintaining their own separate law enforcement agencies.

The Fort Meade Sheriff's Station is located at 15 Northwest 1st Street in Fort Meade, and their main number is 863-285-1100. The deputies assigned to this station are responsible for all calls for service in the city limits.
