Retail Theft Suspect Needs Identified

Oct 26, 2019
Media Contact : Brian Bruchey, PIO

On Saturday, October 26th, a man and woman walked into the 7-Eleven convenience store at 4975 South Florida Avenue in Lakeland and went their separate ways within the store.

The woman was acting a bit suspicious though, and after a few minutes she reunited with the man and both walked out of the store.

A review of security video showed exactly why the woman was putting off that suspicious vibe…she was stuffing a large number of Pre-Paid phone cards into her bag. The woman then took several phone chargers and put those into her bag as well.

The couple left together in a newer model white Hyundai.

If you recognize one or both of these people, please contact Detective Pantalone from the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863-298-2400, or to remain anonymous, contact Heartland Crime Stoppers - call 1-800-226 TIPS (8477), visit the website www.heartlandcrimestoppers.com and click on "Submit A Tip," or download the free "P3tips" app on your smartphone or tablet.
